Working with another person makes the process much easier and there really is not a need for a stand unless you have to work alone. When you talk about building an earthbag house many people automatically go toward the cob house design. A two car garage shop storage area and optional laundry are on the first floor. I was wondering if it was possible to build a round earthbag home but putting a second floor in to make four bedrooms.

We would want the kitchen to be in the center maybe with a staircase to help support the second floor. There are seven of us and we want to make it small but comfortable for all of us. It is usually smaller and easier to build from my research but don t think that an earthbag house can t be less expensive to build earth friendly and gorgeous on the inside.
