Electrolux Washer Door Lock Error

In this video we take a look at a frigidaire washer in which the door lock light was flashing and it was not spinning.

If problem is not corrected replace the main control board. If you re in the middle of a cycle turn the dial or press the button to pause or end the cycle. Wait 5 6 seconds to see if the door unlocks. If the door lock is damaged or does not latch properly replace it. Check if there is water in the machine. If the washer door is not latched shut the door switch prevents the washer from operating. The door lock solenoid will deactivate and the loading door can be opened. If there is water in the machine the door cannot be opened. Once the washer door is closed the washer can begin operating.

If it doesn t turn the machine off by pressing the button or turning the dial all of the way to the off position. Affinity diagnostic mode newer models turn the program knob 6 clicks from the start position. Inspect the door lock for damage. Line door sensing failure.

Door incongruence between door line and door sense. The door lock will activate and the washer will fill then tumble. Check wire connection between door lock and main control board. Turn the washing machine off and unplug it.

Also on any cycle before the spin cycle it just stops and unlocks the. Make sure the door lock icon is not active. If good replace the door lock. Door closed sensing failure.
