Entryway Foyer Floor Plan

While a typical open floor plan makes for expansive sightlines and a cohesive design it also comes with its own set of complications like creating an entryway since the front door typically opens up right into the main living area defining a designated drop zone can be difficult.

A clean color scheme. The winding wainscoted staircase adorned with an elegant paisley patterned runner. This is a simple foyer with a couple of greek style columns guarding the entryway for a dramatic effect that is augmented by the patterned accents on the light gray marble flooring. I wanted to create a sense of entry so we flipped the room and added a console turned the stairwell landing into a teeny tiny foyer and relocated anything that has to do with their personal stuff to the back door.
